Dallas to LA: Weekend Girl’s Trip!

Hello Gorgeous People!

So one day I was sitting at my desk at work looking at my schedule and I noticed that I would have a weekend free in October. I usually work Saturdays so this was EXTREMELY rare and I was not about to let this opportunity pass up to take full advantage of it! I text my best friend Nadia and asked her what she was doing that weekend and said let’s go to Los Angeles. Of course like the ride or die she is, lol, she agreed!

Our flight was set to take off 6:38 Friday evening and when I say we barely made it lord. Let’s just say God gave us ALL of the favor that day to make that flight! We showed up just before they were going to take off, and God bless the man that checked our bags and the sweet lady that let us on the plane! Y’all are the GOATs seriously! But by 7:00 we were headed to the city of angels!

Overall Los Angeles was absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to go back! We ventured out to Santa Monica and visited the pier and the beach! This was probably my favorite part of our entire trip because the view was absolutely breathtaking. While Nadia took a nap I decided to write down my goals for October and then spend some much need quiet time with God. Feeling his presence and being surrounded by his gorgeous creations was definitely overwhelming and I will forever hold that feeling close to my heart!

After the beach we had a delicious lunch at Del Frisco Grille and then ventured out to do some more sight seeing and shopping. One of the locations I had been wanting to visit since it opened was Sorella Boutique located off Melrose. The owner, Heather Sanders, is a Texas native and her store is so freaking cute! Outside the store is a really cute wall that has Girls Tour on it and bloggers every where have taken pictures there so it was only right that I added my self to that list lol.

Overall our trip, though it was short, was nothing short of amazing! Los Angeles is gorgeous and  I  already can’t wait to visit again. I’m thinking next time I will definitely have to plan a longer trip because I feel like I didn’t get a chance to see everything LA has to offer!

But this does wrap up yet another post so until next time….

Stay Gorgeous and I love you!
